BMW 2011 In Any Color

Big changes are afoot for the 1 Series this year with the departure of the twin-turbo N54 inline-6 in favor of the single, dual-scroll turbocharged N55 inline-6. Both engines make 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. This new motor is paired with a new-for-2011 seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. While the six-speed manual is still an option, picking the auto-clutch manual returns better fuel economy. The 128 models retain the conventional automatic.
